The PetchCMS admin panel - where you edit and manage your websites' content, settings and features. Each of the main elements of your website are divided into different sections, with a different manager for each.
The admin panel organises your administrative tasks for you clearly and encourages you to design and manage your website in a step by step, logical and safe way, using a wizard-style interface.
Each manager in the admin panel is designed to allow even novice users to take the role of expert webmasters, so with PetchCMS anyone can create advanced websites, without any coding knowledge.
The Page Manager lets you create new pages, or choose a page to edit. You can edit details such as title, layout, navigation, member only, sort order and more.
After choosing the page you want to edit, you will be presented with a simple form, where you can input the details you want and select the options you like.
This allows you to create unique pages with various different functions, layouts and content, in a logical way.
Using the Navigation Manager, you can easily add categorised links to any or all pages. You will be presented with simple steps and options, making your navigation creation a doddle.
You will first be presented with the following choices: Editing a menu, adding a new menu or adding items to an exiting menu.
The whole process is divided up into small easy steps so that you know what you're doing at every stage of your navigation management.
The File Manager lets you upload files to your website, preview those files, or delete them, using a very simple interface. The File Manager is divided into seperate managers, for images, downloads, multimedia and plugins.
The Image Manager manage the images added to your pages via the Content Manager - either as a main image or through the WYSIWYG editor.
The Multimedia Manager has all your videos, music, and Flash files etc, which can also be added to your pages through the Content Manager. The Download Manager is where you manage the files available as downloads to your users.
The Plugin Manager is a simple but powerful page for managing your existing plugins or creating new ones, using a plugin options system that minimises the experience needed to make and customise plugins.
The Content Manager is where you add or edit the content on your site, after choosing the page for your content.
Simply choose a page and then add or edit your content using an MS Word-style interface, adding images & links to your content with ease.
Add an 'anchor' so users can link directly to the content from anywhere. Create a link so users can view other pages or content from the selected content.
Choose your image from a list, optionally defining its maximum dimensions, and the sort order of your content, so that it appears exactly where you want it.
Create multiple, custom online forms on any page, using any fields, from email systems and feedback forms to guestbooks.
Choose how to handle your users' form submissions - email them to any address, save them to your records or show them directly below the form itself.
After creating your form, start adding fields to it so users can enter their data. Choose the field types, visible labels, submission names and, optionally, the option values.
The Backup Manager lets you create backups of your website using a very simple interface, and offers downloadable copies of your website.
Optimize your the information stored in your websites database, such as layout and content, for maximum speed with just one click, then save that information in a backup copy.
You can also create downloadable archive files of your entire site, so you can keep a copy of your latest work safe at home.
